Course Details
You're invited to participate in the BioSkills workshop at the DKOU Berlin. This is a modified Trauma Academy "L3 Advanced" course with Wrist focus as special feature for DKOU 2018. Target group are up to 15 residents with Wrist specialisation. Full day of Wrist fracture treatment divided in two hands-on cadlab sessions.
Each session begins with case planning in groups based on X-ray scans, CT-scans and 3D printed models of the fractures. Followed by the treatment of lifelike fractured specimen. And finally results are discussed based on 3D C-arm fluoroscopy on site:
09:30 - 13:15: treatment of distal Radius fractures intaarticular (AO23-A3/C1)
14:15 - 16:30: treatment of distal Radius/Ulna fractures (AO23-C3.x + Ulna)
