In this two-day course, you will train the management of complex ligament reconstructions on the knee joint on lifelike human specimens.
As an experience surgeon or orthopedic surgeon, you will be able to deepen and broaden your practical skills and knowledge related to the management of knee joint injuries.
Experts in the field of sports orthopedics will guide you through the surgery and provide immediate feedback as well as valuable tips and tricks, ensuring that after the course you will have an extensive expert knowledge on complex ligament reconstructions of the knee joint.
Launched in 2021, this expert course will be held for the 2nd time in cooperation with Trauma Academy and the German Knee Society (DKG). As part of the certification ”Der Kniechirurg”, the course is recognized by the DKG as a module course for sports orthopedics (module 1).
The following topics are part of the course:
Certificate "Knee Surgeon" (Module 1).
Holistic treatment of knee joint injuries.
Independent surgery on human specimens.
Analysis of biomechanics to determine surgical approaches.
Arthroscopic and open treatment.

ABOUT THE JOINT INJURY

Certified by the North Rhine Medical Association (Ärztekammer Nordrhein) -
CME points will be recognized.
